The City of Hampton will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing the following project:
City of Hampton Potable Water Well 1R Replacement Project
This project will include the deep well drilling and installation of all mechanical equipment needed for a new potable water well to supplement the existing potable water supply in Hampton, Florida. This project will be funded by a Community Development Block Grant (Grant #-23DB-N02) and a Legislative Appropriation (Grant #L0047) and is subject to State and Federal regulations as indicated in the specifications.
TO OBTAIN SPECIFICATIONS/ DRAWINGS/PLANS (BID PACKAGE): Interested parties should send an email to [email protected] to request an electronic copy of the bid package, and remit payment of $50.00 to: City of Hampton City Clerk/Administrator at 5784 Navarre Ave, Hampton, FL 32044. However, if the payment is sent by USPS, send it to: City of Hampton, P. O. Box 250, Hampton, FL 32044.
NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A NON mandatory Virtual Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on May 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time. Interested parties should check the City of Hampton website (www.Hamptonfl.com) for the Teams meeting link and information. LAST DAY FOR QUESTIONS: Any questions are to be submitted via email to [email protected] no later than May 28, 2026. Answers to questions received will be released in an addendum posted on the city’s website. Changes, if any, to the scope of services or bid procedures will be issued in an addendum posted on the city’s website. It is the bidder’s responsibility to periodically check the city’s website for updates.

BIDS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO: Mary Lou Hildreth, City Clerk/Administrator, 5784 Navarre Avenue, Hampton, Florida 32044. Bids shall be delivered by USPS or other mail delivery method, or in-person (electronic bid submissions will not be accepted). For bids submitted by USPS, send them to: Clerk/Administrator, City of Hampton, P. O. Box 250, Hampton, FL 32044. For bids delivered in person, City Hall will be open to receive bids M-F between the hours of 10:00 am to 2:00 pm from May 27, 2026 to June 11, 2026. Bids must be submitted no later than 11:00 A.M on June 11, 2026 local time. Bids received after this time and date will be considered nonresponsive. Submit one original and two copies of your bid in a sealed envelope with the words “Sealed Bid for City of Hampton Well 1R: #26-01” written on the outside of the envelope.
BID OPENING: On June 11, 2026, at 11:10 AM. The city will open bids at the City Hall at 5784 Navarre Ave, Hampton FL 32044. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. Also, the completion date for this project will be 180 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Results of all bids will be posted on the City’s Website (www.Hamptonfl.com) within 7 days after the bid openings. The City of Hampton reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of the City.
STATEMENT REGARDING RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION: Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the City may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
